This was established in the year 2002 by uniting all the village level CBOs and is currently working in 226 villages of 4 development blocks (Nadigaon, Madhougarh, Rampura, Kuthound) of Jalaun district. Today the CBO has total membership strength of 5384 members consisting of 1461 women and 3923 men. The prime objective of the CBO is to attain the all round development of the villages situated over the bank of the river Pahuch by monitoring and evaluating the government projects on the basis of transparency and quality. The CBO focuses on the rights and entitlements of the most marginalized and deprived of the population including the SC/STs and the dalits. Thematic areas that the CBO focuses on include gender equality, land rights and ensuring community presence to ensure effective and efficient functioning of government machinery. It resorts to various tools like rallies, community hearings, social meetings etc
