Outreach and Coverage

Parmarth directly works in three districts of Uttar Pradesh and one district of Madhya Pradesh. These districts are Jalaun, Kanpur Dehat and Lalitpur in Uttar Pradesh and Teekamgarh in Madhya Pradesh.

Other than above mentioned direction intervention areas, the organisation is functioning at Bundelkhand Regional Level under its advocacy, networking and alliance building efforts. The organisation has established Advocacy Office at Jhansi, which is lead by Aapda Nivarak Manch, a community based organisation of civil society groups operational at Bundelkhand regional level). Aapda Nivarak Manch is operational in Jhansi, Hamirpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Mahoba and Lalitpur districts and seeking support from local community based groups in its advocacy agenda of Drought and Livelihood. 

Since inception, Parmarth has come across 23,993 households, in which larger percentage are belongs of Scheduled Castes category and socially excluded community groups. Parmarth is active in 318 villages by engaging 800 CBOs with approximately 80,000 community members. Demographic details of the operational area are presented in the table below:
